Can family come visit my child(ren) during the day?

Family members may visit with permission from the parents. Parents need to notify the center by phone or in-person.

Do you do employee background checks?

Background checks are done at the start of their employment and once a year.

What kind of education is required for staff to work at PCDC?
  • CPR First Aid Certificate
  • Introduction to the Child Care Profession
  • Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher
  • Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care
  • SIDS / Shaken Baby identification training
  • Must also complete 25 hours continuing education every year
How often do the classrooms and toys get cleaned?

Classrooms and toys get cleaned needed but no less than once daily.

Do children share cribs / cots with other children?

No, each child gets their own crib / cot.

When do children go outside?

All children go outside twice per day, weather permitting. We also have an indoor play area in our lower level.

Infants are taken out in our buggies daily, weather permitting.

Children cannot go outside without the proper weather appropriate clothing.

How does PCDC incorporate religion?

We incorporate religion through Bible stories, Jesus songs, and praying before meals and snacks. For our older children, Pastor comes in every Wednesday and leads us in a Devotion and songs.

Do we accept state assistance?

No, we are private pay only.

Are you licensed?

Yes, we are.

How do you accept payments?

You can pay weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Checks or cash only.
